Parking
There is free parking in Museumsgade. However, please respect the driveways and the speed chicanes. We recommend using the parking area opposite the archive (Lokalhistorisk Arkiv), or the open space between the museum and the archive.
The Danish Museum of Photography is just a five-minute walk from the town centre. We suggest leaving the car at the museum and using the pedestrian bridge leading to the town centre. We gladly hand out street maps at the museum shop.
Accessibility
The main entrance has seven steps. Regrettably, there is no special entrance or wheelchair hoist for disabled. Parts of the special exhibitions as well as the toilet facilities are at the first floor.

Taking photos is permitted all over the museum.
Pets
Pets are not permitted at the museum.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted at the museum.

Food and drink
There are no café facilities in the museum. However, the centre of Herning is a five-minute walk from the museum, and offers a rich variety of cafés and restaurants.
